Blessing of the Animals

Sunday, May 18th 2025 - 10am

We invite you to join us in a special tradition—**The Blessing of the Animals**, a celebration of God's creation and the cherished companionship we share with our animal friends.

The Blessing of the Animals is rooted in the legacy of St. Francis of Assisi, known for his deep love and care for all living creatures. He taught that animals are part of God's creation and should be treated with kindness and respect. This annual blessing reflects our gratitude for the joy, comfort, and unconditional love that animals bring into our lives. It is a time to acknowledge their role as companions and caretakers of our hearts, as well as to seek God’s protection over them.

Why Do We Bless Animals?

¨      To honor God's creation and recognize the sacred bond between humans and animals

¨      To ask for God's care and protection over our pets and all living creatures

¨      To celebrate our responsibility as stewards of creation, promoting kindness, love, and care for animals

You Are Invited and Bring Your Family, Friends and Neighbors Too!

Please bring your pets—dogs, cats, birds, fish! They must be in a crate, bowl, carry-bag, or on leash. If your pet cannot be physically present, feel free to bring a photo or simply join in prayer as we bless all creatures, great and small.

We look forward to sharing this beautiful tradition with you and celebrating the love and joy our animal companions bring into our lives.

Bible Study

Wednesday’s at 5:30pm

The most significant book ever written is the Bible. It provides the answers to the major queries in life. The Bible provides direction and teaching for overcoming obstacles in life. Additionally, it motivates us to forge ahead when we need to.

However, there are two more crucial justifications for Bible study. In order to get to know God better, we study the Bible. In order to learn how to live in the modern world, we also study the Bible.
