Worship With US
Practicing worship as the duty and privilege of man. They believe it is essential to the life of the Church, and that the assembling of the people of God for worship is necessary for Christian fellowship and spiritual growth.
Sunday Service
We have been saved from our sins, brought together with a resurrected, living Christ, and with one another through our belief in Jesus. Due to this connection with Jesus and with our fellow believers, the Bible, which is God's message, encourages us to come together regularly, every week, to express our collective joy and gratitude to God through worship. This means not just being isolated Christian individuals, but coming together as a group to pray, sing, listen to God's word, and partake in the sacraments of Jesus.
Holy Communion
At our church, we view Holy Communion as a special and reverent ritual established by Christ, through which God bestows grace upon those who believe. We believe that Holy Communion serves as a channel for God's grace, and that Christ is present during this sacred meal. Our tradition is to have an open communion, where everyone attending the worship service is welcome to participate on the first Sunday of each month.
Baptism Service
On Sunday mornings, as the church service unfolds, the pastor will kindly invite the parents and sponsors/Godparents to come forward and stand at the front of the church. With the congregation's attention focused on them, the pastor will proceed to deliver a heartfelt examination of faith. Following this, the pastor will gently take the person by the hand and perform the baptism by sprinkling water on their forehead, symbolizing the beginning of their spiritual journey.
Holy Matrimony
Marriage, as designed by God Himself, is meant to be enduring and beautiful, reflecting the mutual harmony and happiness found within the Godhead. It serves as a testament to the world, showcasing the deep connection and love that Christ shares with His church.
Memorial Service
Methodists have a unique approach when it comes to burial practices and remembering the deceased, setting them apart from other traditions worldwide. While they don't have specific customs, it's important to note that individual families within the Methodist community may still uphold their own traditions. This flexibility allows families to honor their loved ones in ways that resonate with their personal beliefs and perspectives.
